In excess of the 2,000 minutes calls to any network, Three Mobile charges a flat rate of 25 pence per minute for calls to landline and other network. For Three-to-Three calls in excess of the 5,000 minutes, it charges 10 pence per minute. The voicemail feature will still be free after the one-month contract.
Video call charges 51.1 pence per minute to all UK networks including Three Mobile. Videomail, however, is 25 pence. Text message outside of the 5,000 limit is 10 pence. Picture message and picture mail are 25 pence and video messages are 51.1 pence.
The first video mobile network was also introduced in United Kingdom by Three Mobile in 2003. The 3Store, Three Mobile’s retail stored opened around the time the network was launched in 2003. Towards the end of 2005, Three Mobile has launched its video content site, SeeMeTv, where clients can upload their own videos for viewing by other subscribers. Video owners earn 10% of the fee that other subscribers pay to watch the video. SeeMeTv allows adult content but is protected by a PIN so that minors can’t view them.
